Domenica 19 dicembre si terrà la quindicesima edizione dei Satellite Awards. La cerimonia si svolgerà negli Stati Uniti, a Century City, in California. La commissione ha reso note le nomination per tutte le varie categorie. Il record di nomination è per Inception di Christopher Nolan, che ha ottenuto 11 candidature sulle 22 categorie disponibili. Bene anche 127 Ore di Danny Boyle, con 9 nomination, e The Social Network con 7.
